Do you love pizza but feel guilty every time you eat it? No problem. Introducing cauliflower pizza!
Here’s how to make a tasty cauliflower pizza in 9 steps. Bon appétit!
- Start by preheating your oven to 200°C, then line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the cauliflower into large pieces and place in a blender or food processor. Blend to the consistency of cauliflower “semolina”
- Allow the cauliflower semolina to cool slightly, then place in a clean kitchen towel. Squeeze firmly to remove as much moisture as possible. The more moisture you remove, the better the texture of the dough
- Transfer the cauliflower semolina to a bowl and add the egg, grated cheese, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix well until smooth.
- Roll out the dough into a circle or rectangle on a baking sheet.
- Bake the cauliflower crust in the preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. It should be lightly golden and firm to the touch.
- Remove the crust from the oven and add your favorite toppings: tomato sauce, cheese, vegetables, meat, etc.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
- Take the pizza out of the oven and let it cool slightly. It’s ready!
