Let’s dance

15 Jun

Classical, Zumba, contemporary, hip-hop or ballroom, dance, whatever its form, is full of benefits for the body and mind, and is a true source of fulfillment.  What are you waiting for to join in the dance?

Dance, in all its forms, has many benefits.

Strengthen your whole body:
From the top of your head to the tips of your toes, dance allows you to tone your whole body. Depending on the type of dance, some muscle groups work more than others, but in all cases, abdominal support is essential.

Boost your memory:
Dancing requires you to learn choreographies, which in turn require concentration and synchronization, so your memory is inevitably called upon.  A recent study has highlighted the ability of dancing to reverse aging in the brain.

Have fun:
A few musical notes and off you go.  It takes one dance to do away with stress... All that matters is the present moment. Emotions are expressed, the mind is soothed, the body is liberated, and the spirits are lifted. You can even try the experience alone in front of your mirror or with your loved ones. Shared pleasure guaranteed!

Gain self-confidence
Dancing is fun, releases positive energy and produces endorphins and oxytocins, also known as happy hormones. The regular work of the body also allows you to reappropriate it, to be more comfortable and to gain self-confidence.

Create bonds:
Whether it is practiced alone, in duet or in a group, dancing should be shared. A space for meeting, exchanging, complicity and emulation, this activity creates strong bonds between teachers, musicians, and dancers!
