Facial Gymnastics. A toned face in less than 10 minutes

We all dream of a toned face without resorting to injections and their questionable results. With facial gymnastics, a few minutes a day are enough to stimulate the facial muscles and rejuvenate your features... Naturally.

To firm up your neck:

Smile as much as you can, without showing your teeth. Place one of your hands flat on the base of your neck and then firmly stretch the skin toward your chest while gently tilting your head back.  Then return to the starting position. Repeat the movement about 15 times.

Remember to relax your forehead and your entire face and do not let your neck drop backwards.

To tone your cheekbones:

Place an index finger on the top of each cheekbone and smile with the corners of your mouth. Release and repeat the movement about 30 times.

To smooth your forehead

Wrap your hands around your face: thumbs behind your ears and index fingers at the hairline.  In this position, as you breathe in, your index fingers pull the skin of your forehead back while your eyes look down. When you exhale, release the tension in the index fingers.
Do two sets of 10 movements.

To firm up your entire face, say the vowels with intent:

  • A with a big old laugh
  • E with a kiss
  • I with a smile
  • O with a surprised look
  • U with a displeased look

Repeat the entire set about 30 times.
