A wave of hope against cancer

Pink Wave is a sports, human and solidarity project initiated by Nadia Ben Bahtane, Director of the Brand and Commitment Department. 

Pink Wave's motto: SWIM against cancer 

In memory of her late aunt Khadija Ben Bahtane and as a tribute to all those who face cancer on a daily basis, Nadia will be swimming more than twenty kilometers between Agadir and Taghazout, on July 30th 2022

This action will mobilize partners and donors in support of breast cancer and psychological support.

Les Amis du Ruban Rose is a Moroccan association, formed by a group of women, whose main objective is to convey a message of hope, that of life after breast cancer.  Awareness raising actions for screening, support for treatments, discussion groups but also wellness events around music and sports are the main activities of this association. 

Nadia will then carry the flag for the In The Move program in its "Take Action" dimension which advocates solidarity actions

About Nadia

Nadia Ben Bahtane is passionate about the ocean and open water. She swam across the Strait of Gibraltar in 2015, Sabac-Jarak in Serbia in 2016, and the Strait of Bonifacio in 2017.

In 2015, she joined the top 50 "most adventurous open water women" in the world and was decorated by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God glorify him, with the Wissam of the Mukafaa Al Watania of the order of officer, during the Youth Day ceremony.

Nadia is married and the mother of two young daughters. She has been the Brand & Engagement Director of Intelcia Group since July 2012.

She is also involved in several mentoring programs for youth and women, and sponsor of the first open water swimming event in Morocco.
